Alocasia is a genus of broad-leaved rhizomatous or tuberous perennial flowering plants from the family Araceae. This plant is famous for its unusual and unique alien-looking leaves. Elephant ear plant (Alocasia sp.) received their common name because their leaves look like green renditions of elephant ears.
The plants can be kept indoors as house plants or grown outdoors in shady areas. It is very low maintenance plant. The Elep.
