Colocasia Nebula is a hybrid plant from Thailand. It has large, arrow-shaped leaves that are light green when young and turn silver-grey over time. The veins are dark gray to anthracite and sometimes have a blue glow.

Care tips

Light

Nebulas enjoy lots of medium light. If using grow lights, turn down the intensity and run the lights for a longer amount of time.
Water

Nebulas must never be underwatered. They like it less wet than one would assume for a rainforest species.
Humidity

The relative humidity of the air should be 70% or higher. Especially in winter it should be protected from dry heater air to avoid unsightly dry leaf edges.
Fertilizer

Feed the plant with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer), and once a month during the rest of the year.

Nebulas are native to Borneo and grow primarily in a wet, tropical biome.
Nebulas were last observed in the wild in the 1990s, and since then, they remain unknown in the wild.
