Water well and make sure the ground never becomes too hard and dry during the season. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry to the touch. The wild plant grow to 15–35 inches (40–90 cm) tall, with leaves mostly 6-18 inches (15–45 cm) long and broad. Caladiums grow from bulbs and can be propagated by dividing the tubers.

Does caladium need full sun?

Caladiums grow best in shade to part shade (two to four hours of direct sun, preferably morning) or bright dappled light. In these conditions, they produce the lushest growth with large, colorful leaves.
